How it Works

It usually takes a minimum of three weeks for the completion of your artwork. If you have a specific date that your artwork is needed for such as a birthday, we suggest allowing four weeks. We can often work to shorter timescales depending on time of year, workload and size of collage, so please get in touch if you have a deadline for delivery.

 

Step 1

Choose a Style

Decide how many photographs you would like in your collage as well as the size and the finish. You can find our complete range of sizes and the finishes available here.

Step 2

Order your collage

Now that you have chosen the size and finish for your collage, it’s time to place your order.

 

Step 3

Upload or send in photos

Once you’ve placed your order, you can send hard copy paper images via post for scanning or digital images can be uploaded using our WeTransfer upload link below.

You can use paper photographs, digital images, and drawings for your collage (anything flat and A4 or below can be scanned and included). We recommend including a small number of extra pictures to act as ‘spares’ in case some of your photographs are unsuitable

Step 4

Approve the design

Your images will now be edited and enhanced, they will have minor damage repaired and red-eye will be removed. We then create a digital proof and send it to you by email. At this point you can make any changes to the content and layout of your collage.

You can receive up to 3 proofs included within the cost of your collage. Subsequent proofs will be charged at £25 per proof.

We deliver to you

Delivery is estimated at 7 - 10 working days from this point but this can vary depending on time of year, availability of stock and the size and finish of your collage. Your collage will arrive with all necessary fixtures and fittings to secure it to the wall.

If sending your photographs by post we recommend that you send them by courier or Royal Mail Special Delivery in a strong, secure package. We also recommend that you add your name and address to the outside and inside of the package.

You can send your physical photographs to the following address: Life in Squares, Riviera, 13 Arvon Avenue, Llandudno, LL30 2DY.

Your original photographs will be sent back to you once we’ve scanned and copied them ready for your Life in Squares.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • While we primarily use both digital and physical photographs, we can also include digital images, paper documents (e.g. tickets, invitations, children’s drawings, etc.) in a collage.

  • Our range starts from 25 images and can go up to as many as 196 images.

  • Not at all. Any photo shape or size can be used (up to A4). They don’t have to be square!

  • Absolutely. Just get in touch to let us know what text you’d like to add after placing your order.

  • Of course. We can send you a proof, allowing you to make changes prior to printing.

  • Absolutely. We’ll return them after they’ve been scanned for the collage.

  • The cost of delivery to mainland UK is included in the price of the collage.
